A few years back, my wife and I decided that we were going to buy a new - preferably custom - house.

If you’ve ever made that decision yourself, you know that it can be a long and involved process and that there can be a lot of unknowns. Hey, there’s what seems like a hundred home builders in Omaha and they’re all advertising and clamoring for your business…and you probably don’t know a thing about most of them.

The Internet doesn’t seem to help. Every new home builder in Omaha has their own website, and they start to look pretty similar.

While my wife and I were looking for a new home, we weren’t able to find any really comprehensive resources on the Internet that related to the new home buying experience in Omaha, despite the fact that not only we, but several other couples we know were also in the market for a new home.
